Facts Matter (April 2): Suspect Identified in Capitol Crash, Likely Follower of Nation of Islam

A Capitol police officer has died after a car crashed into a barrier outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington. The suspect was identified as Noah Green. Social media accounts belonging to him suggested he was a follower of the Nation of Islam and its leader, Louis Farrakhan.

In Texas, the state Senate passed a bill that will forbid large social media companies from blocking, banning, demonetizing, or discriminating against any of their users based on their political views.

In New York City, a measure was just passed that has eliminated qualified immunity for New York City police officers.

In Washington State, the state Supreme Court ruled that the effort to recall a socialist city councilmember can move forward.

And lastly, a Border Patrol agent has just released a heartbreaking video that shows human smugglers tossing two toddlers across the border fence in New Mexico.
