Facts Matter (Dec. 7): Florida Forms New Civilian Military Force That Reports to Governor DeSantis

As vaccine mandates are being rolled out to all of the National Guard troops throughout the nation, some states are fighting back.

For instance, Oklahoma has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Defense.

However, Florida is taking a different approach. Gov. Ron DeSantis recently announced that he is going to revive the Florida State Guard, which is separate from the National Guard and reports only to the governor of Florida.
