A petition to block school choice vouchers in Arizona has appeared to fall short. NTD spoke to leading school choice advocate Corey DeAngelis about the impact this will have on academics in the state.
DeAngelis says this will boost children’s performance in school because parents know their kids’ educational needs. He also says giving parents vouchers will increase funding for public schools on a per-student basis because they continue to receive thousands of dollars even after the student leaves for another school.
