Falun Gong practitioners in the UK commemorated a historic appeal in Beijing. In April 1999, around 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Beijing near the leadership compound of Zhongnanhai to call for a free and open environment to practice their faith. NTD spoke to Fei Han, who took part in that protest 24 years ago and now lives in the UK, where she can protest freely.
