Your wedding day is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary experiences of your life. The goal of every bride and groom is to pull everything off without a hitch and make it as memorable as possible.

So when the big day arrived for Addie and her husband, they started the day off by going down their checklist:

Rings? Check!

Music? Check!

Dog? Che… Wait a minute. Dog? Well, yes. For this bride and groom, their dog was playing double duty as both pet and “hired” videographer on their special day.

Not everybody chooses to have their wedding on top of a snow-covered mountain…outdoors. So it made perfect sense for this young couple to add to the uniqueness by strapping a Go-Pro video cam to their dog for the special occasion!

If you are not familiar with GoPro camera’s, think heavy-duty, waterproof, and built to capture the action. These cameras have unlimited uses. From extreme sports to underwater adventures and, most recently, attached to flying drones to capture aerial footage in those “hard to reach places.”

But not on this particular day! Today it was “Ryder Cam” time! Ryder, the newlywed’s dog, was a willing and unaware photographer for the day. To this day, he still has no idea what his assigned purpose was.

Ryder just knows that he got A LOT of extra attention from everybody that day. You’d think he had a camera strapped to him or something!

Watching the footage created by Ryder might make you feel as if you’re on a carnival ride rapidly speeding through the festivities. But when you are going for the “unique wedding day” theme, let’s be honest, no human videographer could provide the perspective that Ryder could.

The lovable dog, Ryder, has separated himself from the pack and added to his skill set a particular talent he has no clue he possesses, “Videographer.” As the old saying goes, “Every dog has his day,” and Ryder certainly had his.

And they lived happily ever after.
