Flying cars are part of many films, from Blade Runner to Harry Potter.
While a real flying car is just at the doorstep of production, German firefighters lifted a 40-year old car up in the air — by using water.
The ingenious firefighters in Oppin in eastern Germany, strapped eight hoses to the sides of the Trabant 601 and switched on the pumps. The water pressure elevated the car several feet in the air while the fire brigade was struggling to keep it stable using ropes.
We’re not sure what the occasion was, but it’s pretty cool to watch!
