Father and Son: Architects of Two Tokyo Games

After winning the rights to design the Aquatics Center for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, 63-year-old Japanese architect Paul Noritaka Tange is carrying on his father’s legacy. His father Kenzo Tange was a revolutionary architect who designed the swimming venue for Asia’s first Olympics in Tokyo in 1964.
