New York’s firefighters are always there to help their community. However, a daunting job combined with increased pressures stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic is pushing some extremely tough and resilient first responders to the brink. But there is a glimmer of hope that has been invaluable in helping them to cope with the challenges of the job.
