Fierce winds and a tornado caused havoc in Las Vegas and in Washington state

Fierce winds hit Las Vegas, leaving tens of thousands without power. The winds can be seen on video footage blowing cars around on roads, and causing traffic accidents, and downing power lines. The winds reached 70 miles per hour.

A small tornado hit a town just outside of Seattle. An RV park in Monroe, Washington was affected by a small tornado. The tornado measured EF0 on a scale that goes to EF5.
