President Donald Trump is calling the CCP virus vaccine approval a “medical miracle.” The FDA just approved Pfizer’s vaccine for emergency use.

“I have really good news,” Trump said on Saturday. “Today, our nation has achieved a medical miracle. We have delivered a safe and effective vaccine in just nine months.”

Mass clinical trials have shown that the vaccines are also safe. Americans participated in the clinical trials that were far larger than normal and showed no serious side effects.

The president said his administration allocated some $14 billion toward the vaccine effort dubbed Operation Warp Speed—the public-private partnership the administration launched to fast-track vaccine development and manufacturing.

The federal government has pledged to distribute nearly 3 million doses to the public within 24 hours of FDA approval.

“And I’m proud to say that we have made sure that this vaccine will be free for all Americans,” Trump said. “Through our partnership with FedEx and UPS, we have already begun shipping the vaccine to every state and zip code in the country.”

He noted that local governors will decide who will receive the first doses of the vaccine, adding that senior citizens, health care workers, and first responders have been recommended to be first in line, according to medical advisers.
