Skyscrapers normally stand in big cities, but this one is a bit special and rises just about two feet above a pond. So by the numbers it’s no real skyscraper, but it has the same effect for the fish inside the pond, they get a fantastic view above their “city.”
usually, when a fish gets above water, either it’s just a quick jump above the surface to get an insect or it is looking to escape a predator. With this ingenious glass-box they get to view their habitat from above from the safety of their indispensable water.
The guy in the video built such a box for his pond. Once set up the fish quickly gathered in the structure and seem to enjoy the unusual view. It’s like a watch tower or panorama suite for them.
