Floods in Northern China

Floods continue to plague many parts of China. In Shanxi Province, villages are flooded, and buildings and bridges have collapsed. Water levels in China’s second-longest river are also substantially higher. And the authorities’ order to discharge water from reservoirs with little warning is only making the situation worse.
