Two bodies were found in floodwater after Cyclone Debbie. One of the two women was found dead on property that had gotten swamped, the other was found in a car that was swept off a bridge.

These are the first reported deaths since the cyclone hit on Tuesday. Tens of thousands are stranded and 100,000 homes are without power. The disaster zone from the cyclone stretches 600 miles, from Queensland’s northeast point, through the Gold Coast, and into New South Wales.
