Florida to Expand Limitations on Gender Lessons

The Florida Board of Education on Wednesday approved Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’s request to expand his Parental Rights in Education Act to grades 4 through 12. The law currently prevents school employees or third parties from giving classroom instruction on “sexual orientation” or “gender identity” in Florida’s elementary schools.
