For Memorial Day, Americans Can Contact Embassies to Urge France, South Korea to Award Medals to Veterans: Author

As Memorial Day approaches, NTD hears from Tom Ruck, a senior adviser at the Department of Homeland Security and the author of “Sacred Ground: A Tribute to America’s Veterans,” about ways in which Americans can honor those who have served.

Mr. Ruck says France has awarded medals to American veterans who fought in World War II, and that South Korea has done the same for those who fought in the Korean War. According to Mr. Ruck, citizens can contact their local embassies to urge these countries to award medals to veterans who have not yet received one.
