In the Netherlands, protests by farmers have been going on for about two months, but this hasn’t convinced the government to modify its nitrogen policy. Time is running out for Dutch farmers, as many of them probably will have to shut down operations and sell their farms. NTD talked to a Dutch opposition leader who says this could have a dramatic impact on food safety in Europe.
