The golden lion tamarin, also known as the golden marmoset, is an endangered monkey. There are only a couple thousand of them left in the wild, and they can only be found in one Brazilian forest. Local conservationists are alarmed about a recent drop in their population. They have built a special bridge for them to cross a busy highway. This will help the monkeys circulate over a wider forested area.
