France’s first woman barber is helping men prepare their beards for the Beard Championship.
Sarah Daniel-Hamizi, owner of one of France’s biggest barber shops La Barbiere de Paris, talked about her aims when helping men with their beards.
“I am trying to elevate my job from being an artisan to the rank of artist. Why? Because each day we sculpt, we shape, we try to imagine elements that do not exist in order to give way to a new beauty for men,” she said.
Many men are loyal to her popular barbershop and depend on her for style inspiration.
She does not consider beards a trend among men. Though they are trendy she looks at them as quite standard.
