The European Union says so-called conspiracy theories have been on the rise since the beginning of the pandemic. And in France, those who are considered to follow conspiracy theories might soon have to make their case in front of a judge, as the French government is reportedly preparing new bills to prevent conspiracy believers to spread their ideas, notably on the COVID vaccine.
