French Government to Tighten Grip on Doctors

In France, the Health Ministry created a new agency for monitoring and certifying doctors. It will also have the power to dismiss any physician going against its rules. Some of them, who decided to prescribe repurposed drugs to help their patients recover from COVID-19, might be dismissed. NTD spoke with one of them, who says the French government is tightening its grip on doctors and restricting their freedom to treat their patients the way they judge is best for them.
