French Mother Wins Battle Against Drugmaker

In France, a mother who has been fighting for a decade to sue a French drugmaker over an epilepsy drug has won her first battle on Wednesday. The drug, sold under the name Depakine, can cause birth defects and learning difficulties when taken during pregnancy.
