FTX’s Bankman-Fried Gets Arraigned on New Charge

Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of the bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange, is arraigned in Manhattan federal court at 10:00 a.m. ET on March 30 on a 13-count indictment, including a new charge of conspiring to pay bribes to Chinese officials.

Bankman-Fried previously pleaded not guilty to eight of the counts. U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan will take the former billionaire’s plea.
