Future AI Could Be Hostile, Top Expert Warns

The world may be filled with hostile AI systems in the future, according to a paper by the Center for AI Safety. Its director, Dan Hendrycks, says even if some developers build altruistic AI’s, there will still be those who build less altruistic AI’s. Hendrycks says the less altruistic ones will outcompete the altruistic ones.
