Future of Twitter Following Dorsey’s Departure

John Matze, founder and former CEO of Parler, joins us to discuss some big changes at Twitter.

First, Twitter broke Twitter when founder and CEO Jack Dorsey stepped down without warning after 16 years. His replacement is Chief Technical Officer Parag Agrawal, who’s been with the company since 2011. Agrawal hadn’t been very much in the public eye, but now everyone is paying close attention to him to see what it will mean for the future of the platform. 

Then, on the first day under Agrawal’s leadership, Twitter rolled out a new policy related to media privacy. Critics say its ambiguous language could be abused to impose more censorship on the platform.  

Matze breaks down why he agrees and what he thinks Dorsey’s departure will mean.
