Gallagher: Should Congress Mandate That Public Companies Disclose Their Financial Exposure to China?

In a Sept. 12 House Subcommittee Hearing concerning the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) potential financial stability risks for the United States, Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) asked witnesses if it would be a good idea for Congress to mandate that publicly traded companies disclose their financial involvement with China to the public.
