Giant, New Wind Turbines Collapse

As wind turbines are getting bigger and bigger, they can indeed collapse. The most recent crash was a 400-foot-tall turbine —longer than a football field—that collapsed in Wisconsin. Nobody was hurt, and the owner of the turbine, NextEra Energy, says that it’s still investigating the cause of its fall.
