IBSCC takes place yearly in September in Latvia and is hosted by the city of Jurmala near the Baltic Sea. The choral music competition location is the Small Hall of Dzintari Concert Hall—a place highly suited for choral singing. IBSCC is intended for mixed, male and female high-level amateur choirs that compete for the GRAND PRIX prize.
