A girl died after falling from a theme park ride. The 11-year-old fell into the water of the Splash Canyon ride.
She died after being airlifted to the hospital. The incident took place at Drayton Manor theme park. The family-owned theme park is located in Staffordshire. The girl is believed to be from Leicester, in central England.
The theme park has since closed the ride.
