Crowdfunding app GiveSendGo is experiencing incredible growth, according to its co-founder Jacob Wells. It’s now available in 80 countries, up from 40 not long ago. GiveSendGo sees itself as a replacement for current crowdfunding market leader GoFundMe. Wells says GoFundMe allows progressive bias to influence who is allowed to raise money on the app and that it discriminates against people who don’t align with its values.
Earlier this year, GiveSendGo stepped in to support a group of Canadian truckers who were protesting the country’s vaccine mandate. GoFundMe canceled the truckers campaign, which, by that point, had racked up milions of dollars. NTD’s Paul Greaney sat down with GiveSendGo’s Jacob Wells at FreedomFest 2022.
