Rep. María Salazar (R-Fla.) unveiled a House Republican resolution to stand by Israel at a press conference in Washington on Wednesday. The resolution criticized what Ms. Salazar described as the Biden administration’s calls for Israel to adhere to a “one-sided cease-fire” as the Republican House members announced their support for Israel’s actions in seeking to destroy Hamas.
Ms. Salazar also decried Hamas’ treatment of the Palestinian people, adding that the “compassionate thing to do” would be to assist Israel in finishing the war and ending the Hamas terrorist organization’s “reign of terror” against the region and, in particular, against its own people.
