Got a cork stuck inside a bottle? You can remove it without breaking the glass

When you feel like drinking wine from time to time, you may find your bottle opener has gone missing since the last time you used it. Though there are many ways to open a bottle without a cork screw, some of them are quite complicated…

As my dad once said, when it won’t get out, it will have to go in — so he pushed the cork inside the bottle. You need a solid table and some physical strength, but it’s probably one of the fastest methods to open a bottle of wine without a cork screw or breaking the glass.

So now you can drink the wine, but what about removing the cork? Normally you just throw the bottle away when it’s empty… But imagine if this is a nice shaped bottle and you don’t want to get rid of it, so you need to get rid of the cork…

Here’s how it’s done. Watch carefully, it might come in handy one day.

This also works with a cloth napkin. Maybe this even works better, because the risk of tearing the napkin apart is a lot smaller than tearing up a plastic bag.
