The US-China Economic and Security Review Commission held a hearing on May 23 to examine Washington’s China policies in the areas of trade, investment, and technology.

“Years of corporate espionage, unfair trade practices, and industrial policy have helped shape it into an economic competitor, technological peer, and modern military challenger,” said Leland Miller, a member of the commission and the CEO of China Beige Book.
