Grandma Meets Voice Activated Machine

A grandmother named Maria Actis, who has a strong Italian accent, got a Google Home gadget as a present over the holidays. She tried to talk to it, but she ended up saying “Goo-goo!” instead of “Google.”

The gadget didn’t respond for a while, but finally it answered when she asked about the weather. Maria then jumped out of her chair and said, “I’m scared, it’s a mystery. Oh my gosh!”

Maria’s present was given to her by Becky Siegel, her grandson’s girlfriend.

88-Year-Old Grandma’s First Bike Ride

A Pennsylvania grandma’s lifelong dream finally came true not long ago.

“All I ever wanted for my birthday was a bicycle but I never got one,” 88-year-old grandmother Pauline Tornetta always said.

Her grandson, Andrew Fusco, has a big heart, and he surprised her with a custom-made tricycle attached to the back of a regular bicycle. He then took her cycling on the Schuylkill River Trail, a local scenic route.

On the back of the bike, he wrote, “This is my first bike ride, I’m 88!”
