Back in the ’80s, the volunteer organization known as the Guardian Angels was formed to stop violent crimes from being committed in New York city’s subways.
The group now has members patrolling in communities across the United States and abroad.
Now, amid the extreme tension between rioters and law enforcement in Portland, Oregon, the volunteer group is continuing its efforts to prevent violent crimes and serve the community.
