Hard to Say If Expulsions Are Really for Corruption or Purging to Ensure Loyalty to the CCP: National Security Analyst

Two former Chinese defense ministers, Li Shangfu and Wei Fenghe, have been expelled from the Chinese Communist Party after being investigated for corruption and bribery.

But retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert Spalding, a national security analyst, told NTD that he believes there’s another reason behind the move: helping the Chinese Communist Party’s top leadership purge officials it doesn’t like.
