Three of Silicon Valley’s biggest tech CEOs, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Jack Dorsey of Twitter, and Sundar Pichai of Google, testified before the Senate on Wednesday about how they manage political content.
Section 230 was introduced in 1996. It currently shields platforms from liability for content posted on their platforms. Modifications to the current definition of the law would be more likely and easier to implement.
