Amid the healthcare crackdown, leaked documents from Beijing’s city Health Commission reveal a secret directive: seemingly to launder ‘bribery’ funds.
The document states that any accepted gift money, payment vouchers, or commercial prepaid cards from medical staff and health institutions should be deposited into so-called “clean accounts.”
Noting the accounts will conceal the privacy of the recipient as well as the amount of money deposited.
NTD cannot independently verify the notice.
Internet users are furious with many demanding that the money be returned to the public.
