Holocaust Museum Commemorates International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The United States Holocaust Museum is commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The museum website emphasizes that these historical lessons are still relevant today, given the recent violence at a Texas synagogue and antisemitism in other parts of the world.  In a short film on the museum’s website, survivors reflect on the killings and extreme suffering of the Jewish people during the Holocaust. The film honors those who risked their lives to rescue persecuted Jews.
