In the latest blow to Hong Kong’s press freedoms, police raided the offices of a pro-democracy media outlet and arrested current and former staff. The outlet, Stand News, known for publishing voices supportive of the Hong Kong protesters, announced on its Facebook page it would stop operations immediately and all of its employees have been terminated. The outlet posted a video of police arriving at the deputy assignment editor’s home.
