Hong Kong is in the midst of its worst COVID-19 outbreak. Hospitals are reportedly overflowing, despite the city implementing a zero-COVID policy that sought to eradicate the virus rather than live with it.
Now the economic damage caused by the policy is forcing authorities to open the city back up, in the middle of the COVID wave.
