Hong Kongers who have emigrated to the UK on the British National Overseas visa scheme are not being allowed to access over £3-billion worth ($ 3.8-billion worth) of retirement savings, according to research from advocacy group Hong Kong Watch. The group says that usually, anyone permanently leaving Hong Kong for the UK should be entitled to withdraw their savings.
