Hong Kong’s New Climate of Self-Censorship

Former Hong Kong legislator Leung Kwok-Hung, also known as “long hair,” says an Orwellian “reign of terror” has descended on his city and it’s shocking to many Hong Kongers to just how quickly the change has come.

Including a new climate of self-censorship. Even doing an interview like this one, under the national security law, could mean arrest. Here’s an excerpt from his conversation with “American Thought Leaders” host Jan Jekielek.
