When this adorable horse smelt his owner’s casket, he realized he had lost his best friend. Everyone around could feel this amazing pet’s sadness as he made one last march with his friend.
Just as you would have cats and dogs as pets, Wagner Lima had, Sereno, his beautiful horse as a best friend for many years. The duo were inseparable. They spent most of their time together.
On the 2017 New Year’s Day, 34-year-old Wagner unfortunately was involved in a motorcycle accident in Brazil and died. His family members were acutely pained by their loss.
Wagner’s brother, Wando, was aware of the deep bond between the horse and his dead brother, and realized that Sereno should be brought in to attend the funeral.
Sereno had absolutely no idea what had happened. Sereno marched close to the casket along with the rest of the family to the burial grounds in the city of Cajazeiras, Brazil. Then suddenly he picked up Wagner’s scent from the casket and he realized who was inside the casket.
This big buddy, broke down and lay his head on his owner’s casket.
The sadness in his eyes was evident to the family and friends who made this last march with Wagner.
“This horse was everything to him,” Wando told Globo News. “It was as if the horse knew what was happening and wanted to say goodbye.”
Wando has decided to keep Sereno with him so they can bear their loss together.
