The short, produced by Zombie Studio and Loud, was commissioned as part of a rebranding campaign, which saw Hospital do Câncer de Barretos—one of Brazil’s largest specalist cancer centers—renamed Hospital de Amor: Hospital of Love. True to the ethos of the hospital, the film subverts the stigma associated with the disease by focusing on the enduring power of love.
