The House Armed Services Committee holds a hearing on “U.S. Military Posture and National Security Challenges in Indo-Pacific Region” at 11:15 a.m. ET on March 20 to examine Department of Defense policies, programs, and activities in the Indo-Pacific region in preparation for the committee’s consideration of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025.

The hearing provides an opportunity to assess the threats to U.S. national security in the region and to evaluate the effectiveness of the department’s use of the resources provided by Congress to accomplish its objectives.
