House passes American Health Care Act

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a new health care bill on the afternoon of Thursday, May 4.

The GOP’s long-standing pledge to repeal and replace Obamacare has been fulfilled.

The bill passed by a margin of four votes, 217-213, with no support from the Democrats.

Now the bill heads to the Senate.
