Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and James Comer (R-Ky.) are calling for immediate hearings to “examine the integrity of the 2020 election.”

They addressed a letter to the Democratic heads of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees.

They wrote, “Given your role as leaders of a political party that spent four years baselessly calling into question the legitimacy of the 2016 election with debunked allegations of Russian collusion, you owe it to all Americans to fully examine allegations of actual election errors and misconduct.”

Republicans on the committees issued a joint report in September. It warned that “With all of these last-minute changes, Democrats are setting the stage for unprecedented confusion and chaos on and after Election Day.”

The two lawmakers allege that Democrats ignored the report–and now many of their predictions have come true.
