House Republicans on Wednesday showed their support for a resolution authored by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to condemn anti-Semitism on college and university campuses.
This comes on the heels of a House committee hearing featuring testimony by Harvard President Claudine Gay, Massachusetts Institute of Technology President Sally Kornbluth, and former University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill—who were each grilled by many members over what has been seen as a rise in anti-Semitism within academia and the allowance of calls for genocide against Jewish people on college grounds.
