The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Rochelle Walensky, recently caused a stir when she announced 75 percent of COVID deaths were of people with at least four other comorbidities. What’s more, she used this as a basis for promoting the vaccines.
What did she actually mean by this statement, and why are officials only now coming out with data distinguishing hospitalizations/deaths because of COVID-19 from those of people who incidentally have COVID-19?
The global pandemic has certainly rattled the world’s economies, but it’s not the only factor that could fuel a roller-coaster economic ride for 2022. The Chinese Communist Party, Bitcoin, and “going green” also have their roles to play.
