Over 12.5 million passengers are scheduled to fly from airports across the United States over the Labor Day weekend, according to the travel app “Hopper,” despite massive flight cancellations during the summer.
Data from “FlightAware,” a flight tracking site, shows that nearly a quarter of U.S. flights were delayed this summer, with about 55,000 U.S. flights having been canceled since the Friday before Memorial Day.
